Touching base: Nebraska set ready for release

JACKSON, Mich. — New cards of Heisman Trophy winners Johnny Rodgers, Mike Rozier and Eric Crouch highlight TK Legacy's innaugural Nebraska trading card set, scheduled for an August release.

All-Americans Freeman White Jr., Jerry Tagge, Jerry Murtaugh and Steve Taylor are among those appearing on the base card checklist, released Wednesday, July 16. (List attached)

The 50-card set contains N Club cards highlighting the achievements of set participants as well as several special subsets, which honor the players and team milestones that makes the Cornhusker name synonomous with collegiate gridiron greatness.

The non-autographed cards are the foundation of TKLegacy collectable series, which also include a plethora of player hand-signed cards as well as randomly inserted hand-drawn artist sketches.

Heisman Trophy winners Johnny Rodgers, Mike Rozier and Eric Crouch as well as All-Americans Freeman White Jr., Jerry Tagge, Jerry Murtaugh and Steve Taylor are among those appearing in the set.

“We've had a few hiccups in producing the set, but we feel the final product was well worth the wait,” said Larry O’Connor, TKLegacy vice-president of marketing.

The Nebraska cards will be available in 10-pack boxes and 8-box cases. Wholesale inquiries are welcomed.
