February 1, 2008 Greetings.. Well this first-ever Nebraska set is poised for release in late April and, frankly, the players have been spectacular  to deal with.. What is quite apparent is that Husker players love their university. They've been very enthusiastic and extremely helpful during TK Legacy's foray into Lincoln territory. Fred Duda, who was a quarterback during the dawn of the Coach Devaney era in the early and mid 1960s, suggested  former teammates Freeman White Jr. and Tony Jeter might want to be included. Duda and White Jr. were part of the longest TD pass play in school history, connecting on a 95-yard strike against Colorado in 1965, while Jeter was the first player to be chosen as both an academic and athletic All-American. The Duda-White pass is commemorated on a special Lincoln Links card while Tony's achievements are recognized on a special All-American card. Players like Duda, White and Jeter established the foundation that led to Nebraska's five National Championships.
