dog blog header

I've been sniffing around the TK Legacy backyard and I've uncovered that former NFL player Frank Nunley will be in the next Michigan set. There's a real bulldog...

Also the set manager tells me that Chad Henne will be in this set. Now that's best-of-show dog if I've ever seen one. I read that Henne may be the Dolphins' starting quarterback...

As a courtesy, I'm going to throw you collectors a bone, and tell you that CFL quarterback Jarious Jackson will be featured in our next Notre Dame set, and I hear whispers that Johnny Lattner will also sign cards. That would be worth howling about. And I also hear that Billy Simms is going to be in Oklahoma's first series. You know what I always say, the Sooner the better when it comes to Oklahoma Heisman winners...

By the way, we are always looking for players for our set. If you would like to see a player in one of our sets, and know where to reach that player, please email us at
customerservice@tklegacy.com. Nothing I like better than hunting down players. I think my great uncle on my mother's side was a bloodhound, but sometimes we just can't find the critters we are looking for...

I'm a sentimental pooch, and I love the family aspect of college football. I love the family ties in college football, and I'm happy when we include it our cards. Our set manager tells me that we are paying tribute to the Damkroger clan in our first Nebraska issue. P
atriarch Ralph Damkroger played for the Cornhusker in the post-war 1940s.

His sons Maury and Steve were both standouts for Nebraska in the 1970s.

The brothers are featured on a separate double-autograph card. A special Signature Moment card photo captures legendary coach Bob Devaney looking on with  Ralph Damkroger while son Maury signs his letter of intent. Also looking on wonderously is younger brother Steve, who continued the family legacy at Nebraska. Maury has autographed that card for collectors...

In the Michigan set, we are celebrating another family, although there is sadness mixed in it. All-American Marty Huff from the 1969 team is signing cards for us, and we are also including a card of his son Ben who was a defensive lineman on the Wolverines' 1997 National Championship team. Sadly, Ben has passed away, but his family has given us permission to salute his memory with a trading card...All of our collectors should keep their ears up, because I did some snooping and hear that we may be landing a new professional license soon...

Also there are tenative plans for another entertainment product...

And hey, does anyone know the location of Ed Shuttlesworth or any member of family? We would like to put him in our Michigan set. Also, we are looking for former Notre Dame running back Darius Walker or wide receiver Matt Shelton.

Remember, wag more, bark less.
